We are happy and excited to celebrate 11th establishment anniversary of our university having rapid progress in terms of quality and quantity in a short period of time with the experience of the past and the excitement of being new.
Our university which is now 11 years old continues to carry out its educational facilities in 8 faculties, 3 institutes, 3 High Schools, and 8 Vocational Schools in which there are 189 departments/programs with approximately 18,000 students and over 1000 academic and administrative staff.
We believe that universities are not only an educational center but also contribute to the region they are located by means of the studies and the projects within the universities. The universities should be the locomotive of the region. In today's world where rapid changes and transformations are experienced, Innovation, R & D, design and branding are really important which we are aware of it. Within this content, HÜBTÜAM (Research and Application Center) and Technopolis in which there are advanced professional devices have been deployed as a center where studies on high added value products have been carried out and real research has been carried out.
In the past 11 years we have left behind, besides making the most basic functions expected from the universities with a management approach based on participation and entrepreneurship, our university has come to such a position that contributes to the society in every sense, develops the cooperation of university-industry, university-NPO and university-city, is open to national and international collaboration, becomes popular more and more, shines all the time and is being preferred – which makes us proud.
No doubt that Hitit University will continue to step forward to its goal as a university which is open to the innovations, integrated with the city, prestigious in international arena with its experienced staff and the acceleration of development it has caught with the slogan of “Brand City World Class University”.
With the synergy gained, I sincerely thank everybody contributing to our university so far and I believe that this successful progress will be continued with the same excitement, the same strength and courage, and I wish all my best feelings of reaching many years full of success altogether.
